Hutt River at Kaitoke Methods of Obtaining Hydrological Evidence on Climate Change
نویسنده
چکیده
III l~cw Zcaland hydrological data are classili!ed in five broad categories: water resour~es, channel stability, floods, catchment c;ondition, and suspended sediment or erosiOl~ measurements. A description of how the co\lection of data has been planned has been gliven elsewhere (Campbell 1960). The classihcation will assist the collection of eviden~e relating to climate change since confirrpatory or contradictory evidence may be sho!wn up by study of the different kinds of datil. The! methods which can be used will depend on the observer having a good 'understanding of the meaning and interpretation of eac!h 'kind of data and the subject is accorqingly dealt with here in each separate category. Future climate change impact on hydrological regime of river basin using SWAT model
Hydrological components in a river basin can get adversely affected by climate change in coming future. Manipur River basin lies in the extreme northeast region of India nestled in the lesser Himalayan ranges and it is under severe pressure from anthropogenic and natural factors. Basin is un-gauged as it lies in remote location and suffering from large data scarcity. This paper explores the imp...
متن کاملDetermination of Climate Changes on Streamflow Process in the West of Lake Urmia With Used to Trend and Stationarity Analysis
One of the most important hydrological time series task is to determine if there is any trend in the data and how to achieve stationarity when there is nonstationarity behavior in data. Detecting trend and stationarity in hydrological time series may help us to understand the possible links between hydrological processes and global climate changes. In this study yearly, monthly and daily stream...

متن کاملHydrological Response to Human Activities and Climate Change in the Ghaleh-Shahrokh Watershed
Determining the relative contributions of human activities and climate change to variations of runoff in basin is very important for sustainable management of water resources. In this study, seven methods were used to determine these relative contributions in the Ghaleh-Shahrokh watershed as the main upper catchment of Zayandeh-Roud River. These seven methods can be divided into two main catego...
متن کاملThe effect of climate change on flow regime using two meteorological and hydrological indices
An important and fundamental issue in Iran is to utilize water and to avoid wasting it. Therefore, climate change can be considered as an effective factor on water resources. The most tangible climate change phenomenon is drought which is much important to be identified. In this study, the effect of climate changes on flow rate in Bashar River, Shahmokhtar station of Yasouj city was evaluated u...
